SU ARNASY – Water Expo 2025: Driving Sustainable Water Solutions

The 14th International Specialized Exhibition and Conference SU ARNASY – Water Expo took place from April 23 to 25, 2025, at the EXPO International Exhibition Center in Astana, Kazakhstan. Focused on water supply, wastewater treatment, and sustainable water management, the event brought together key stakeholders to explore the latest innovations, discuss pressing industry challenges, and build long-term partnerships.
This year’s edition welcomed 3,864 professionals, 71 companies from 10 countries, and featured a 2,000 m² exhibition area.
The 14th International Specialized Exhibition and Conference SU ARNASY – Water Expo took place from April 23 to 25, 2025, at the EXPO International Exhibition Center in Astana, Kazakhstan. Opening Ceremony

The exhibition officially opened on April 23 with a formal ceremony attended by representatives of government bodies, industry associations, and international organizations. Opening remarks were delivered by:

Showcase of Innovation: From Pumps to Smart Technologies
The exhibition featured a wide array of solutions designed to modernize water infrastructure and promote sustainable resource management. Exhibitors presented technologies across the following areas:

•Pumping stations and engineering networks
•Process automation, SCADA systems, and digital monitoring
Among the companies featured were Vogelsang, ANDRITZ, VodEcoFilter, QA-Plast, Riza Global, CNP, ETEK, ATE, and others. Visitors explored innovations in energy-efficient systems, smart sensors, and products tailored for Kazakhstan’s municipal sector.

Business Program: Addressing Key Industry Challenges
A key event on the agenda was the National Forum on Water Supply and Sanitation, held in cooperation with the Kazakhstan Water Association (KWA). Discussions focused on:
•The draft of the new Water Code
•Tariff regulation strategies
•Implementation of digital solutions in public utilities
The forum featured 12 expert presentations and brought together 150 participants from government, business, and international institutions.

New Agreements and International Cooperation

SU ARNASY – Water Expo 2025 also served as a launchpad for international partnerships. A cooperation agreement was signed between the International Center for Technology and Competence (Kazakhstan) and SMU 100 Service LLC (Russia). The agreement outlines joint initiatives in trenchless pipeline rehabilitation, aiming to implement innovative solutions that improve infrastructure reliability and efficiency.
Audience Profile

According to the post-event survey:
•85.3% of visitors were decision-makers
•35.8% were owners or CEOs
•17.6% were mid-level managers
•15.9% were engineers and technical experts
88% of attendees rated the exhibition, participant mix, and business program as excellent. Most visitors came to source new suppliers, explore technologies, and build business relationships.
