Kazakhstan and Germany Strengthen Partnership in Water Resources
Astana hosted the conference “Development of the Water Sector in Kazakhstan and Prospects for Kazakh-German Cooperation,” reports the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The event brought together government officials, German experts in economics and energy, and organizations involved in water resource management and infrastructure development.
Nursultan Keremkulov, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Construction and Housing & Utilities of the Ministry of Industry and Construction, highlighted the country’s priorities: efficient water use, modernization of existing infrastructure, and expansion of international partnerships.
Discussions focused on knowledge sharing, the adoption of advanced technologies, and strengthening long-term cooperation. Both sides reaffirmed their intention to deepen collaboration and implement joint projects to advance the water sector.
